HW1000 & HW2000 Points Simulator
Park Signalling's points simulator allows points control equipment to be exercised without the need for a functional points machine. This allows the functionality of the signalling system to be verified in isolation from the points machine.
The simulator is a support tool to be used at trackside for the informal testing of points control equipment that is not in-service. During the provision of new signalling works, or alterations to existing works, and before tail cables are connected to points operating equipment (POE) on the track, the simulator will connect to the POE end of the tail cable to simulate the electrical load and the points detection contacts of the HW1000 or HW2000.
