As part of Network Rail's mandatory fitment of the Train Protection and Warning System (TPWS) to the UK national rail network, Park Signalling developed the Trackside Radio Control Unit. The TRCU is a microprocessor based radio interface between TPWS and the passive stopboards of the Radio Electronic Token Block (RETB) signalling used in remote rural areas.
